A large number of intelligent technological equipment made their debut at the exhibition, offering visitors a feast for the eyes.

A robot that emits the sound of a bird of prey, is round and rolling, and resembles an iron ball attracted many visitors to stop and watch. Duan Tianye, deputy general manager of Loteng (Hangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd., introduced to the Science and Technology Daily reporter: “This is a bird deterrent spherical robot developed by our company. It is equipped with a camera and can simulate the sound of a bird of prey to scare away common birds. It can perform bird deterring and monitoring patrol work at airports.”
The spherical robot has a long battery life; it can last for 8 hours on a 2-3 hour charge. “The bird deterrent spherical robot has already been applied at Beijing Daxing Airport,” said Duan Tianye.
At the booth of Hangzhou Ruying Technology Co., Ltd., some visitors were queuing up to experience “going through security checks”. In the past, when airline passengers underwent security checks, security personnel needed to use sensors for close-body checks. With the millimeter-wave body imaging security scanner, passengers only need to stand in the designated position of the security scanner and spread their hands, and they can quickly pass through the security check in a few seconds.
The on-site staff of Hangzhou Ruying Technology Co., Ltd. introduced that the millimeter-wave body imaging security scanner has all-category object detection capabilities and uses perceptual large model AI technology to efficiently and accurately obtain target information.
In recent years, the research and development of sustainable aviation fuel, the use of new energy sources at airports, and aviation emission reduction technologies have become hot topics in the green development of civil aviation. At the exhibition site, some companies showcased new airport solar power generation facilities and electric airport ground vehicles, providing feasible solutions for reducing civil aviation carbon emissions. The electric instantaneous water heating aircraft de-icing vehicle of Weihai Guangtai Airport Equipment Co., Ltd. is one such example—the de-icing vehicle greatly reduces environmental pollution by using an electric chassis and motor-driven upper structure.
“China's civil aviation technology equipment has been continuously developing towards digitalization, intelligence, and green development in recent years, and has achieved many independent innovation results. For example, the single-lamp monitoring system, an important control system for civil aviation airport ground management, has broken the foreign monopoly. Through high-speed and stable carrier communication, it precisely controls every light on the taxiway, providing smooth follow-the-green-light guidance service for flights and ensuring that aircraft complete ground movement safely and efficiently. For example, the electronic flight bag combines charts and flight operation data to provide pilots with convenient operation, assisting airlines in paperless operation and improving operational efficiency,” Zhou Xinhong, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Civil Aviation Technology Equipment Co., Ltd., told the reporter.
At the exhibition site, Zhou Xinhong told the reporter about a past event. During the period when China's civil aviation industry imported foreign products, Zhou Xinhong was an import contract businessperson. Once, a problem occurred with an imported product, and foreign engineers needed to be invited for repairs. “They couldn’t come once, and they couldn’t come twice. The foreign engineers said they didn’t have time,” Zhou Xinhong recalled. “Finally, they came, and they fixed the product with a few operations. I still remember the look in the eyes of the foreign engineers. At that time, I had a strong feeling in my heart—we must also produce our own products!”
From using foreign products to independent research and development, and then to the performance of some products surpassing foreign products, China's civil aviation technology equipment industry has insisted on taking the path of independent innovation. “We will continue to promote the deep integration of digital intelligence technology and civil aviation scenarios to inject new impetus into the high-quality development of China's civil aviation!” said Zhou Xinhong.
